First, I love the title after reading Aurora's story.
I'm not musically gifted, but the writer did a great job of fitting Roar's passion around the story without losing me. It painted a very vivid picture of a city, people and places. Plus, the romance was hot! Looking forward to more!
This story truly pulls at your heart. You want so much for things to work out, and it hurts when they don't. I laughed and cried along with Aurora and Duncan.

This was such a fantastic book! If you like getting to know characters and deep heart-felt situations, this book is for you. Aurora is an identifiable character and was overall just lovely to get to know. I hope to read more by this author!
Jasmine C. Caldwell struck the jackpot when she included the enemies-to-lovers, fake-boyfriend, and the geek-girl-and-jock-boy tropes in the first book of her Geek Girl Squad series. As an honorary member of the Geek Girl Squad, I especially loved the dynamics she included in the story.
As I was reading, I could imagine this as a movie. The story was fun and the couple had an engaging arc. I enjoyed Olivia's personality and thought her relationship with her friends was realistic. Her friends added to the story because they each had their own unique personality.
I was rooting for Olivia and Jake!
I love a good enemies-to-lovers story and that is what this is. Nadia and Caleb meet back in the first book (Olivia) in the series, however, this story starts back from that first meeting and you get to see it from their perspective...Loving this series so far and can't wait for future installments.
